Pre-arrival expenses and financial preparation

All students—whether they are scholarship holders or non-scholarship holders—must be prepared for some essential pre-arrival expenses including :

  • Visa fees
  • Passport costs (if needed)
  • Airfare and travel expenses
  • Accommodation deposits
  • Administrative fees related to your arrival

Scholarship holders

The scholarship funds will only be disbursed starting from mid-to-late September. This means that scholarship  holders will need to prepare in advance and budget for the above-mentioned pre-arrival expenses before the scholarship payments begin.

Non-scholarship holders / Self-paying students

Non-scholarship holders will need to cover all of the same pre-arrival expenses. Additionally, they will be responsible for the participation fees and living expenses throughout the program.  Self-paying students must ensure they have sufficient funds for the entire duration of their mobility program.
